Special Events and Performances
St. Aloysius Catholic school prides itself in offering several special events, in-school performances and field trips throughout the school year, some tailored for the entire school and some for specific grades.
Recent field trips included Beneski Museum of Natural History in Amherst, Cold Spring Orchard in Belchertown, Southwick’s Zoo in Mendon, the Fine Arts Center at UMASS Amherst, and Mechanics Hall in Worcester.
Performers that have graced our assembly hall stage include Young Audiences’ Promised Land ensemble who presented “The Immigrant Experience”; “Ecology of Sound” was presented by Ricardo Frota; Mary Jo Maichack – Minstrel Storyteller; Rachel Griffiths presented “Teaching Creatures”; “Birds of Prey” presentation, featuring wildlife rehabilitator Tom Ricardi.
