Carrie Abreu graduated from Notre Dame Academy and Assumption University in Worcester, MA with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a certificate in the Honors Program and a certificate in the Foundations of Western Civilization Program.  She joined the St. Aloysius community in 2016 as the After School Program Coordinator.  With a background in science and a real love for Biology, Carrie became the 7^th and 8^th grade science teacher in 2017, teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics.  In 2019, she became the Kindergarten and 1st grade aide and is now the 1^st grade teacher.   Carrie strongly believes in a hands-on, STEM based education, so she runs the ever-popular after school STEM Club.  Carrie is currently working on her Master’s degree in School Psychology.  In her free time, Carrie enjoys spending time with her 4 Bichon Frises Muffin, Cookie, Jellybean and Peppermint, and competing in AKC conformation dog shows. Back to “Our Staff” page.
