Danielle Benkert studied psychology and child development at Utica College of Syracuse University in NY. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science in 2003 and went on to become certified in Child Life. Upon graduation, Danielle practiced as a Certified Child Life Specialist at UMass Memorial Children’s Medical Center in Worcester, MA. This is where her passion for teaching children truly blossomed.  Much of her time at the hospital was spent on the Pediatric Units engaging patients in normalizing play experiences as well as teaching and supporting the whole child and family throughout their hospital experience.
After 8 years, God blessed her with two wonderful children and the opportunity to stay home to raise them.  Danielle teamed up with Mrs. McNally in September of 2019 and immediately fell in love with being in the preschool classroom. When she’s not at school, Danielle loves to run, go to the beach, and watch her son play soccer and her daughter dance.
